Release 1.0.52
GPS Track Recording (Pro Feature)
GPS Track Recording is a Pro‑only feature that provides continuous positional logging for navigation and post‑route analysis. Tracks are stored as multi‑segment GPX data and support full import/export for interoperability with external applications.
Start, Stop, and Resume Recording
Recording controls are accessed through the Track button located in the lower‑right corner of the map interface.
-
Start Recording
Initiates a new track segment. The Track button icon changes to red, indicating active GPS data capture. -
Stop Recording
Pressing the Track button during an active session displays a command dialog. Selecting Stop ends the current segment. The recorded track remains visible on the map. -
Resume Recording
Pressing the Track button after stopping provides options to resume or clear the existing track. Resuming creates a new segment within the same track object. -
Clear Track
Removes the track from the map display. Saved tracks are unaffected unless explicitly deleted through the Track Manager.
This workflow supports segmented track creation and predictable state transitions suitable for navigation logging and GPX export.
Manage Tracks
Saved tracks are accessible through the Route Manager under the Tracks tab. The following operations are available:
-
View Track
Loads the selected track onto the map for review. -
Import GPX
Creates a new track from an external GPX file. -
Export GPX
Serializes the selected track to GPX format for external use. -
Delete Track
Permanently removes the track from storage. -
Refresh Summary
Recalculates track duration and point count to ensure metadata accuracy.
These management functions provide a complete lifecycle for track data, supporting both internal navigation workflows and external data exchange.
